Jane Marriot has been the prime enabler of project to resurrect Imran khan in Pak politics. She has been seen holding meetings with journalists, HR activists and academia to rally support for the embattled PTI leader. One asks what would a British ‘diplomat’ gain by these endeavors or the right question may be; what are British afraid to lose? This British high commissioner is not your typical diplomat after having served mostly in conflict zones like Yemen, Afghanistan, Kenya etc. At least a decade of her ‘service’ is unaccounted for and doesn’t boast any diplomatic deployment. A normal for such diplomatic hitmen, who are arsonists to every place they have ever been to. Miss Marriott, you aren’t hiding in open, we see you for what you are. A gentle reminder that Pak isn’t Yemen or Afghanistan. If you think you can burn the country to ashes, you have another thing coming.
Imran khan has experienced a flurry of sympathetic articles and rather generous coverage in western press over the last 8 months. At least 129 articles in major publications is something Bangladesh or even Gaza failed to generate. Dubbed sarcastically ‘Operation Goldsmith’ by Pak Twitterati, the trend keeps giving and is now increasing in intensity. The highly influential khan’s former in laws, the ubiquitous Goldsmith family & Zionist lobby world over surely are at the back of it. A whisper to submit papers for chancellorship of Cambridge university, out of blue I may add, now makes sense once seen in this right context. Fair to say, Imran khan is a product of Jewish lobby and project of Goldsmith clan.
Close to a million civilians scarred by Gaza violence, with thousands still awaiting burial after being crushed under rubble and the rest targeted daily with impunity is not worth covering for same publications. These countries & media houses not only condone Gaza genocide but continue to aid and abet it. Thousands others, are getting killed world over but not even a shrug of shoulders by these flag bearers of humanity. Remember, their sense of morality or consequent outrage are always selective and confined to razor sharp national interest. How Imran khan became a prime western concern, is anybody’s guess.
A paradox facing these powers however is the intrinsic hatred in Pak to any politician or public figure seen to be associated with US or western countries. The more they push for Imran khan, the more they weaken his public appeal. By abandoning all pretenses, the west will only hasten the inevitable and make short work of their asset. To navigate this problem, foreign support is being controlled to a degree where it doesn’t look too obvious. However, the mask is slowly chipping off and people are starting to notice the obvious, one article at a time….
