Terror attacks in Pakistan Went down by 20% in June


In June this year, the militants carried out at least 69 attacks in Pakistan, which caused 60 deaths, including 33 security forces personnel, 26 civilians, and one militant, the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies reported. 

The data also showed that 65 people were injured, comprising 33 civilians, 31 security forces personnel, and one militant. It added that there was a 20 per cent decline in militant attacks, a 33 percent fall in resultant deaths, and a 25 percent decrease in injuries compared to May. 

The report noted that in the first six months of the year, Pakistan had faced 478 attacks, resulting in 474 deaths and 539 injuries. 

According to official data, during the same period in 2023, the country witnessed 271 attacks, resulting in 391 deaths and 656 injuries.
