Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC)

The Green Pakistan Initiative, launched by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), aims to revitalize agriculture, an integral sector of Pakistan's economy, by developing over seven million hectares of previously uncultivated land. Since its introduction, the initiative has garnered significant interest from both domestic and foreign investors. Foreign investors have committed to cultivating 140 thousand acres, while 85 domestic investors and companies have pledged to cultivate 460 thousand acres of land.

Moreover, the implementation of the Land Information and Management System will modernize agricultural practices, improving efficiency and productivity. This advancement is anticipated to enhance national exports, bolster food security, and generate employment opportunities.

The combined efforts of the government and military have played a pivotal role in expanding the cultivable area, showcasing substantial progress in reshaping Pakistan's agricultural landscape.
