General Munir reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to its strategic partnership with China and support for CPEC

On Friday, Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, met with General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, at General Headquarters.

They discussed regional peace, stability, and progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). General Munir reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to its strategic partnership with China and support for CPEC.

Liu Jianchao highlighted the strong relations between the two nations and expressed satisfaction with CPEC's progress, emphasizing China's commitment to its completion. He also praised Pakistan's efforts in maintaining regional peace and the security provided to Chinese nationals and projects.
