Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir visited the Haji Pir sector of the Line of Control (LOC) on Monday to celebrate Eid ul Azha with the stationed troops, according to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations. General Munir participated in Eid prayers with officers and soldiers on the front line, offering prayers for Pakistan's peace and prosperity. In his address, the army chief praised the troops for their dedication, high morale, and commitment to defending their homeland. He stated, "As soldiers, we take pride in celebrating such festivities away from our homes and loved ones while on duty, ensuring the security of our country and fellow citizens.”
